So many of you have been patient and understanding of delays and oddities around shipping and delivery these last months, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Unfortunately we are still living in a pandemic and that means uncertainties with regard to shipping and delivery timelines. We are currently experiencing delays and inconsistencies with transit times so we would like to encourage you to allow plenty of time for your holiday orders to arrive this year. We have most of our holiday items in stock and available to ship, so with a little forethought you won’t have to stress too much nearer the holidays.
We do our best to get your order on its way to you as quickly as possible, but during high volume sales periods, (like the holiday season), we may need a little more time than 1 business day. Our team is working as hard as they can but the reality is we are a small business and some days we get overwhelmed like a lot of other small businesses at the moment, (did someone say staff shortages?).
Once we hand off your package to a carrier it is out of our hands and we rely on the same tracking information that we provide to you. Although our carriers are much bigger entities than we are, we also know they are working under difficult conditions and have been for a while now. They are also overwhelmed and doing the best they can to get your packages to you in a timely manner. It’s very likely holiday season this year will be even more challenging than last year.
Please remember that your package may have to pass through several depots and distribution centers to get to you. Some areas have been more heavily impacted by the pandemic, some have had issues with weather related incidents, and so on and the situation is very fluid from day to day.
